Once an insult. Now a declaration.

We founded our brand out of a genuine love for exceptional wine, wine that transcends the ordinary. So we picked the name every wine bore would clutch their pearls at, on purpose.

A WineSlut is a fearless lover of wine. Someone who values flavour over formality, curiosity over convention, and pours without judgement. Whether it's a quiet Tuesday, a takeaway on the sofa, or a table full of people who stayed longer than planned, good wine doesn't need a reason.

We got tired of wine taking itself so seriously.

The swirling. The sniffing. The people who use the word "terroir" in casual conversation. Wine is supposed to be fun: a glass with friends, a bottle on a random Tuesday, the thing you bring to dinner without a second thought.

So we built the kind of wine shop we always wanted: good bottles, honest descriptions, zero pretension. We're not here to make you feel dumb for not knowing what "malolactic fermentation" means. We're here to help you find something you'll actually enjoy drinking.

Our spirit comes from the 1940s.

Our whole brand takes its cues from the iconic women of that era. They knew how to hold court, make a strong impression, and enjoy a bloody good drink without needing permission or approval. Unapologetic tastemakers: elegant yet wild, never taking themselves too seriously. That's the exact energy we're bringing into the modern age.

How We Choose

Buying good wine shouldn't feel like an exam.

Between the swirling, the sniffing, and the endless jargon, wine has built up a reputation for being complicated. We think that's nonsense. So here's exactly how we choose what makes it onto our shelves, no mystery, no jargon.

1. We taste before we stock.
Every single bottle is tasted before it earns a place with us. Big name or not, if it doesn't taste incredible, it's not going on the shelf.

2. We back small producers.
We seek out small, independent, family-run vineyards, passionate makers crafting wines with actual character, not mass-produced bottles built for scale.

3. We choose character over convention.
We're not chasing the biggest name or the "safest" pick. We're after wines with personality, made by people who care, not committees.

The result? Wines you won't find crammed onto a supermarket shelf, chosen by people who actually know (and love) what's in the bottle.
