The Allure

Journey to the sun drench high altitude slopes of the Bekaa Valley, where winemaking heritage stretches back thousands of years. If your cellar routine feels a bit stuck in standard Bordeaux or Rhone rotation, this iconic bottle offers a thrilling Levant twist. Crafted by Château Ksara, Lebanon’s oldest and most legendary winery, this red blend pays homage to the estate's 1857 monastic roots. It is a plush, deeply satisfying table red that balances warm Mediterranean fruit concentration against crisp, high altitude mountain freshness.

Why It’s Exceptional

The Taste: A deep, vibrant garnet pour in the glass. The opening bouquet is rich and expressive, filled with juicy black cherries that lead gracefully into savory, meaty undertones across the mid palate. Lush, mouth filling tannins lend fantastic texture, culminating in a spicy, memorable finish laced with black pepper and sweet vanilla.

The Pedigree: A masterfully proportioned blend of forty percent Syrah, thirty percent Cabernet Franc, and thirty percent Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from pesticide free vineyards situated at a lofty average altitude of 1,000 meters in the Bekaa Valley. Following hand harvesting, destemming, and a twelve to eighteen day vatting period, the wine ages for six months in oak casks to seamlessly round out its tannic frame.

The Ritual: An absolute triumph for food pairing, especially when rustic, hearty dishes are on the table. Serve at cellar temperature (around 16 to 18 degrees Celsius) in a generous red wine glass to let its dark fruit and savory notes expand. It acts as a dream companion for spiced lamb koftas, slow roasted beef brisket, roasted aubergine dishes, or rich game stews.
