The Allure

High up on the cool, windswept plateaus of Arcadia in the Peloponnese lies a historic landscape the ancient Greeks revered as the sacred domain of Dionysus. Cultivated by the brother and sister team of Kostas and Georgia Moropoulou, this practicing organic estate sits at an impressive altitude of nearly 700 meters, making it one of the coolest microclimates in all of Greece. Rather than relying on standard Provençal styles, this bottle leverages long skin contact with indigenous pink skinned grapes to deliver a blush wine with true Mediterranean personality, vibrant acidity, and serious gastronomic weight.

Why It’s Exceptional

The Taste: A mesmerizing, pale pink pour that leaps from the glass with expressive aromas of crunchy red cherries, wild raspberries, and a delicate touch of crème pâtissière. The palate is brilliantly lively and punchy, driven by a crisp, focused vein of natural acidity that cuts through a rich, fleshy mid palate before finishing with immense lift and length.

The Pedigree: 100% Moschofilero, an aromatic, grey skinned Greek variety native to the high plateau of Mantinia. Guided by talented winemaker Lefteris Anagnostou, the organically farmed vines grow in well drained, rocky clay soils where cold summer nights delay harvest until late autumn. This slow ripening preserves exceptional aromatics and fiery acidity, while gentle skin contact extracts its gorgeous pink hue and textured body.

The Ritual: A sensational food rosé engineered for Mediterranean feasts and elevated dining. Serve nicely chilled in a large white wine glass to allow its complex pastry and red fruit aromatics to expand. Its vibrant acidity and rich texture make it a ideal partner for grilled octopus, seared tuna steaks, spiced mezze platters, or classic Greek spanakopita.
