The Pedigree: 100% Zinfandel sourced from top regional appellations, including Lodi, Amador, and Sonoma. The backbone comes from decades old, head trained vines in Lodi and Amador which yield small, highly concentrated clusters. After hand sorting and destemming, the wine undergoes warm fermentation in stainless steel. It is then aged for ten months in a combination of eighty percent second fill French oak and twenty percent new American oak barriques to lock in structure.
